LOVED THIS DESKTOP IMAC! THIS IS ALL I WANTED. SWITCHED FROM PC ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO NOW AND LOVED EVERY SINGLE MAC I HAVE HAD EVER SINCE. THIS LATEST IMAC I BOUGHT TO REPLACE MY AGING MAC BOOK PRO G4 AND WHAT A AWESOME UPGRADE THAT IS. I FOUND IT TO BE THE BEST DEAL OUT THERE MONEY AND PERFORMANCE WISE TO BUY FROM AMAZON. I ALWAYS HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH AMAZON. SO EVERYONE OUT THERE IF YOU WANT A GREAT RELIABLE MAC COMPUTER FOR THE BEST PRICE, THAN GIVE IT A TRY FROM AMAZON, BEST PLACE TO SHOP FOR THE QUALITY AND PRICE NO DOUGHT!

I would give this a 6 star rating if possible. The only change I would suggest is longer cords on the mouse and keyboard. My first Mac but not my last. Everything functions like it should. Support from Mac is fast friendly and very intelligent. Thanks
Beautiful Machine September 15, 2008 Erik S. Jenkins (Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought mine in May, right after the new Penryn models came out. This has been the most rock solid, reliable computer I've ever owned in terms of stability. I am using Bootcamp and running Windows XP on it (though it hardly gets use), and it makes an outstanding PC as well. Mechanical design, aesthetics, and OS X make this computer a winner. My only gripe: lack of access to the hard drive. It's not easy to disassemble one of these either. A lot of photo-heavy users should steer clear of the 20" models as well, the display dithers to display millions of colors, the 24" uses a better quality LCD.
WOW! What a Machine! September 9, 2008 Honest Reviewer (North Carolina) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My 3 yr old Imac G5 was about to die so I upgraded to the new Imac 2008 Aluminum. What an unbelievable improvement! I also have a new Dell Quad Core PC with a 24" screen and it can't keep up with this Apple Imac Monster. The only thing I added to this package is the 4Gig Memory to replace the 2Gig Memory it comes with. I was a believer in quad core and was going to wait until Apple incorporated the quad core into the Imac since it is already standard on the Apple Pro. But let me tell you here and now - the dual core processor that comes in this machine blows away my Dell Quad Core PC. All I can say is WOW! This is truely a great IMAC.
