Gloria is at her best again for those of us who believe in God's plan for us. This is a loving book that brings a certain peace to the reader.

Editor of Michele Cozzens' award winning women's fiction A Line Between Friends

I read about half and I started crying. My sides hurt so much from laughing.
Put your trust in an invisible sky daddy who is always broke and wants not only to kill you if you don't suck up, he wants to torment you forever.
I think this book is a hoot and perhaps a little prozac make help you grasp the delusions of religion as a whole. You may even see Elvis at the Mall.
Read this book and cry you heart out as this is comedy only Mel Brooks can top.

If you believe the bible also read jack and the Bean Stalk. I think Jack plays Jesus who conquers sin by killing a giant.

I have no idea why this fairy tale crap is foisted on me without my request, consent or interest.. I am ANTI religious.. it is the root of all evil now and always has been .. I strongly resent any of this voodoo detritus being put before my eyes... get it out of here!! now!!! The world would be a much better place if this drivel was examined for the devisive, pandering pornography that it really is.. THIS is the 800 pound gorilla that few will/can acknowledge!!
Are we clear on this??

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   May 15, 2008

I was disappointed that rather than guiding you to find the inner path which is unique to each individual and therefore help one to be in control of one's own actions and destiny, the book promotes a surrender to a vague trust in a greater plan. Not an original premise.

Gloria really brings new light to God's Master Plan for my life versus says "Heather's OK Plan" for her life. Realizing that God is perfect in all that he does and his heart is to pour his blessings over each of us and giving us the BEST he has for us! Connecting to that isn't accomplished by going through life "hoping" good things will come my way, BUT BELIEVING and TRUSTING that nothing is impossible when I unite with a GREAT PLAN, God's Master Plan for my life. Joining God in what he is doing and partnering with him in His Perfect Plan is better then any plan that I could try and develop on my own."
