Product Description 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard from Optimum Nutrition. 100% Whey protein is now better than ever with 24g of pure, instantized whey protein and more whey protein isolates (WPI) the purestt source of whey protein available. Whey Protein Gold Standard now provides an even higher protein percentage by weight. This unique formula includes strategically hydrolyzed whey peptides, lactase and aminogen digestive enzymes to further enhance absorption. How is this formula different from their original formula? Most notably, ON 100% Whey Gold Standard? has been enhanced to include more of the purest, most expensive source of whey protein available: Whey Protein Isolates (WPI). By supplying more WPI, ON 100% Whey Gold Standard? offers a higher percentage of protein by weight, and more of the pure, unadulterated proteins you?ve grown to love. Of course, all of this comes without having to sacrifice any other aspects of quality, mixability, taste, and texture. Now with 24 grams of pure whey protein isolates, concentrates, and hydrolysates, over 4 grams of Glutamine and Glutamine precursors and over 5 grams of BCAAs per scoop, along with HYDROWHEY? strategically hydrolyzed whey peptides, and Lactase and Aminogen digestive enzymes, there?s little doubt ON 100% Whey Gold Standard? is the most impressive package ever to hit store shelves.

Great product, decent price November 17, 2008 M. Ghazi (Coral Springs, FL USA) I have been using ON Whey for about 2 years now- and my opinion on this is remains the same throughout that time: its a great product at a good price. br /I will rate this on what I think sums up a good protein powder (on a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the highest and 1 the lowest): br /Mixability - 4.5 - this product requires a decent amount of mixing, or it will get clumpy in your glass. Same with a shaker bottle.. but all in all it mixes in fine with about 20 seconds of stirring/ shaking. br /Taste - 3.5 - definitely NOT my favorite part of this product, but I should mention that I have only tried 2 other protein powders, and one tasted worse. The chocolate is ok - it tastes like a chocolate milkshake with cardboard in it. Stay away from the vanilla. br /Price - 5 - in conjunction subscribe save Amazon offers a pretty good deal. I should rate this as a price to performance ratio- so the score will remain the same. br /Effectiveness - this product has worked VERY well for me. I have put on over 40 pounds since using it and I believe it works very well as a supplement to a good diet. br /All in all I would give this product a 4.5, but since I cant select that on the star rating I gave it a 5- as the taste is subjective. br /
Tastes better November 2, 2008 Venkata S. Vommi I liked the taste better. Not as good as Syntha-6 though. Just used it for month haven't seen any significant results.
Better cheaper than Nitro-Tech Hardcore October 31, 2008 Pumper Nickel (New York, USA) After trying the Nitro-Tech Hardcore, I am really glad that I found this product. It seems to have the same effect, but is by far richer in flavour and cheaper in price. Even my girlfriend, who didn't like Nitro-Teck at all, now takes a shake from time to time after her workout. br / br /
My all-time favorite whey protein October 28, 2008 Amanda Prior (Raleigh, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a competitive fitness model, I have tried nearly every whey protein on the shelves at the local GNC's and Vitamin Shoppes. I don't know what took me so long, but I finally got around to trying ON-Whey and I can't believe what I was missing. br / br /This is the best general purpose whey protein for the price hands down. It is exceptionally high quality (considering the price) and consists mainly of whey protein isolate which tastes and mixes better than the cheaper whey protein concentrate powders. There are tons of excellent flavors, my personal favorites being: "Delicious Strawberry" and "Cookies and Cream". br / br /Typically, I prepare one scoop of ON-Whey in a cup with about 8oz of cold water, stirred with a spoon. After 30 seconds of vigorous stirring, the powder is *completely* (and I do mean completely) dissolved. This protein does not clump!! It mixes equally well with 8oz of cold skim milk either with a spoon or a blender. I have also put it in a water bottle, added some water on the go and relied on shaking it (which again, leaves no clumps). br / br /Delicious Strawberry stands out among the pack of flavors in two ways. First, it has 110 calories per serving while the other flavors have 120 calories. Second, it has half the carbohydrates (2 grams versus 4). For this reason, I was able to happily give up my Low Carb Isopure which is more expensive and doesn't taste nearly as good. br / br /As of now, I have tried the following flavors and would rank them solely based on taste as follows: br /1. Cookies and Cream br /2. Delicious Strawberry br /3. Strawberry Banana br /4. Vanilla Ice Cream br /5. Double Chocolate br /6. Rocky Road br /
Great Product October 24, 2008 W. Derek Garth (Phoenix, AZ) This protein is very high-quality. It tastes great - like Muscle Milk, but with much less fat and few carbs. Also, it is packed with BCAA's and glutamine. I highly recommend this product.
