wide bike pedals November 2, 2008 Kathleen V. Mcginn The Schwinn Wide Ride Pedal has made biking much more comfortable. Easy to install and they perform exactly as promised.
One Problem October 9, 2008 Rick A.K.A. KE0NC (Nebraska) If you only use your Airdyne with arms and legs, these are great pedals. You will get a good workout pushing and pulling. br / br /If you want a workout with just arms, there is a problem. They do not have enough ballast built into the bottoms, and can spin around without feet in them. That ballast is supposed to keep the pedal upright, but the strap hits the floor, causing the bike to jerk and move. br / br /I put a piece of two by four under the back feet to raise the bike enough to fix the problem. I wouldn't have to do that if they had put in more weight.
Much Better Than Originals... August 17, 2008 Thomas H. Williams (Watkinsville, Georgia United States) I bought a used Schwinn Airdyne Exercise bike and it came with the regular, bicycle type, pedals. My foot would slip off or I would have to constantly adjust my foot position while I was working out. These new pedals hold my shoes in place and I'm able to ride without slippage... They really make a difference... I love them!
Bicycle Pedals August 1, 2008 Stephen Stacey (New Carrollton, MD) I purchased these pedals at the time I purchased a Schwinn Airdyne bicycle and glad I did so. The pedals that came with the Airdyne were small and very narrow. These pedals being wider and having an adjustable strap were a huge improvement. They are however a bit difficult to adjust. br / br /I would still recommend these pedals as replacements to anyone. br /
No More Slipping July 27, 2008 Rosemary Mclain (Mobile, AL) Before purchasing these pedals, my feet would slip off the pedals when I started getting up some speed. Now I can continue my workout without constantly starting and stopping.
