I did not seem to get relief for my ADD but I did find that it is *extremely* effective at making sex more pleasurable. I don't think it increases your 'drive' at all, but what it does is makes pleasure itself feel more pleasuable. This counts for nonsexual pleasure, as well. That can help a lot for mood. I'd equate taking one of these to taking a wellbutrin except without most of the bad side effects. br / br /If you take 5-6 you will be positively screaming with pleasure, but this is probably a bad idea as it really gets the heart rate pumping, so don't go crazy.

The DopaBean brand of Mucuna works very well. It comes in enteric-coated capsules which deliver a better effective dose. Protein digestion can reduce the amount of L-Dopa that gets delivered, but with the enteric-coating you don't have to worry as much about when you eat or how much protein you ate. br / br /I found that you get a better effective dose using this brand than the Physician's formula brand. While both brands work, 1-2 of these capsules seems work as well as 2-3 of the Physician's Formulas. br / br /I have ADHD and this works well with my other medications. It actually reduces the dosage needed of the other meds. We both definitely noticed an improvement in mood and libido and my fried was able to stop smoking more easily (so she claims). br / br /I also can wake up more easily in the morning.
