| Customer Reviews:
Just as good as the more expensive brands July 2, 2008 Rachel Himes (Indiana, Pennsylvania USA) I bought this product on recommendation of a lactation consultant. Apparently, it's a "known secret" that it improves milk production. I noticed a measureable improvement in about a week after beginning to supplement with 3 tablets, 3X daily. I also noticed that my sinus headaches were less but hadn't attributed it to the fenugreek until I read someone else's remark that it is used for allergy symptoms. Apparently, that seems to be true, also. Anyway, I started with a much pricier brand and switched to this hoping the potency would be the same. I've noticed no difference in effect between this and the more expensive brand, at a significant savings.
good, but there are better June 18, 2008 Vanessa Grimes (wisconsin) this product is great for helping to increase milk flow, or to keep a steady supply. but, i found i had to take it 3 times a day 2 pills at a time to truly help. fenugreek is great for nursing moms, but this dosage i thought was too low. you should try to get the higher potency pills to make a bigger difference. this is absolutely great for helping allergies too! i suffer from issues of always feeling stuffy with a mucuosy type buildup that always makes me feel sick. once i started taking fenugreek for nursing, i found that my mucous issue cleared up. once i checked into it, that's actually one of the top reasons for using it regularly. I STARTED TAKING FENUGREEK FOR NURSING, BUT WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE TAKING IT FOR CLEARING MY SYSTEM AND SINUSES!!
so far so good April 5, 2008 Angela D. Mcgennis i've been taking 4 caps twice a day, and i don't notice an increase in milk supply, but do know that my baby is sometimes satisfied on one side. and i smell like maple syrup, so i know the herb is in my system well!
making milk written in greek November 17, 2007 Jennifer Johnston (Grizzly Flats, CA) For those women suffering from your dr. telling you to drink more water and breast feed more often, I am sure, like I you feel like a walking full bladder with a heavy weight on your breast 24 7. I'm sorry, to those darn nurses and Dr.'s saying generally there is no reason you can't keep up with your baby's supply and demand for feeding. BS!! Thank god for the lactation consultants that specialize in this sort of thing. Fenugreek is a big help in boosting supply. There are wonderful sites online (Google it) to tell you all about it. Or call the lactaion center at the hospital. As for this brand, Nature's herb, it does the job. Great price vs the price of my local retail. If it's not working for you, I am pretty sure it's not because of this brand. I had to tweek the doasage a bit within guidelines of my lactation consultant before I got it right. GOod luck!!
