Product Description Watch movies anytime and anywhere you want with Sony's cool DVP-FX820 Portable DVD Player. With a 6-hour battery life, an 8" high-resolution swivel screen that provides a clear and crisp picture from any angle, 2 headphone jacks for sharing, and a car adapter that ensures your movies outlast even the longest road trip. And when you want more than movies, the FX820 plays your CDs or MP3s, and lets you view your personal photo albums. Control buttons are located on the screen bezel for ease of use. Skipping or fast forwarding a scene is so easy to do, either with the control buttons or with the dual-sensor remote control. This portable DVD player is so lightweight and compact that you can carry it anywhere you go. Though it is designed for adults, its durability is certainly built for kids.

Reliable and Durable July 21, 2008 B. Hackett (Tracy, CA) I have had this player for a couple of months now and am completely satisfied. I was thinking about getting a tablet form dvd player, but then I saw this one. It turns into a tablet and the hinge is built so well. Many of the other "swivel" moniter dvd players have cheaply made hinges and break quickly. Sony has really built this player to last. The sound quality is great. Even on an airplane with just the speakers on I could hear it clearly. The picture quality is better than any other player I have seen. The LCD setup gives you so much control of how the picture looks. The battery life is extremely long, which I really like for long trips. To make the battery last as long as possible its best to have the backlight on min. Although at low it is harder to see, if it is bright where you are. On a late-night flight that I had, it worked great. The player itself seems to be constructed very well. Although it is quite heavy for such a small player. Especially with the battery in. The reason for the 4 star is that it comes with the bare minimum of accessaries. It comes with the player, battery, remote, car adapter, and AC adapter. The other players that I have purchased in the past also came with a case and headphones, sometimes two pair. But this player is still worth it. Overall this is an exellent quality portable dvd player for under $200. I would recomend it to anyone.
Sony FX820 DVD July 21, 2008 Kate Buxbaum-Prado (Hagerstown, MD) I bought this for a gift for my sister's birthday. She has not had it very long, but is so pleased with it. It is easy to set up, light to carry and gives a great picture. A wonderful gift to give or own for yourself.
Sony-Quality Product July 20, 2008 F. Murphy (Chicago, IL) We use this for plane trips with our three year old, and it just works. Simple to use, excellent battery life, bright screen. I was using my laptop for the purpose, but this is smaller and better.
Great DVD Player July 18, 2008 C. Matas (Colorado) We have had this DVD player for 2 months now - bought it for long car and plane trips. The swivel and flip is great, we have it mounted in the car and this makes it easy to turn toward the front seat so I can get the dvd going for the kids. The picture is great, the player does not stop when you stop the car like some do. We have not had any problems at all. I spent a month researching and this one seemed the most solid, so far so good!
Nice one July 18, 2008 CHIACHAO TUNG This is the most pretty portable DVD player on the market now. And it does improve in vedio quality compared to previous model. Trust Sony's picture you will be happy
