This HT is great!!! I have tried it through HDMI and is just Amazing!!! I recently connected my TV to my HT through optical audio (Toslink) and it sounds perfect!!! It is a great piece of technology at a good price...

Samsung HT-Z512 Home Theater System
I received in item and came in great shape. My only compliant is that i got the item and my wireless rear speakers didn't work. So I had to send the unit into Samsung and had to pay for shipping one way to them. Not sure if i could have returned it to Amazon or not. Overall though for the price you just can't go wrong......

For the price I paid for this, I got my money's worth. It's no Bose, but it does a nice job with the Samsung LCD I have it running on. They recognize one another and the remotes will work for either. My chief grievance with this, is that there are not enough ports on the back side for all the devices that are out there. It is relatively simple to use, one note is that if you are watching TV or a movie, you will notice a delay (like the dubbed Kung Fu Movies), this setting is easy to adjust, but it is very noticeable at first. I am not sure if this was a mistake at the factory or if this is the factory setting, but it can be adjusted. Samsung has a lot of great FAQ's on their website instead of reading through the manual to figure out how to do something.
