Product Description The Wave music system reproduces one-half octave lower musical notes and delivers even greater clarity and definition than the original Wave radio/CD. With its deeper tones and even more lifelike sound, you might just feel like you're sitting in the front row. Inside, our new proprietary waveguide speaker technology combines with other Bose technologies to deliver enhanced performance at all listening levels. You'll hear the same clear musical nuances whether you turn the volume up or keep it soft. You'll also enjoy the full depth and range of every vocal or instrument on MP3s, CD-R/RWs, and conventional CDs. Listen to CDs created on your computer and take advantage of the digital MP3 format for hours of uninterrupted Wave music system quality sound. The Wave music system was engineered to be delightfully easy to use. There are no visible buttons. Instead, the entire system is completely and conveniently controlled by a credit card-sized remote control. And setup couldn't be easier. The CD player, digital AM/FM tuner, amplifiers and speakers are all built-in so you can enjoy quality sound right out of the box. The large, bright display panel is easy to read and understand, prominently displaying the artist, title and album names of your suitably encoded MP3 CDs. It's also easy to enjoy the system's full, rich sound with your TV, VCR, DVD player, or computer, thanks to an auxiliary input jack. And if you want to keep the music to yourself, you can simply plug your headphones into the headphone jack. The Wave music system may look familiar, but it takes the original award-winning design of the Wave radio/CD to new levels. With its absence of buttons and a convenient slot-loaded CD player, the slim, sleek profile shines through to complement just about any room. Its lighted buttons are ideal for low-light conditions and its larger, rounded design is comfortable to hold.

Awesome Music System October 9, 2008 S. Krantz I highly recommend the Bose Wave Music System. The sound is awesome and I love the fact it is so small. I always wanted one of these and I am so glad I finally purchased one. It is so easy to use and I love everything about it.
Overpriced Boombox October 1, 2008 D. Harvey Bought ours a year ago. Finding info on warranty, right out of the box should have been a sign. The thing started having problems within three months, and now is a glorified clock. No sound comes out at all. The "wave" system, for all its hype, is no great shakes. Worse, when we wanted to add speakers, found we had to spend another small fortune. When we researched other systems to see how common a problem this was, we learned that other systems make it much more convenient to use. Compared to many of the other systems out there, this one seems antiquated and underpowered. It's old world technology, and that comment comes from someone born in 1954 who used to build short wave radios as a teen. I cannot see any reason to spend so much money on something you cannot put your faith in, especially when so many of these things offer much, much more for less than half the price.
No Buzz Alarm September 4, 2008 X. Hernandez (Washington, DC USA) We already owe a Bose in our living room so when we redid the bedroom I was looking forward to replacing our cheap alarm clock/radio/cd player with the Bose. When it comes it sound quality its great and we already knew to get an extra remote....however my biggest complaint (and this is key in the bedroom) the alarm clock only wakes to music (radio/cd) what no old fashion alarm buzz (it never occured to me to check the literature on that and we never used the alarm on the living room model). So ifs important to you (and it is to me) be warned.
Bose Wave System radio/CD August 24, 2008 Richard L. Badger (Fort Morgan, CO USA) WE are pretty satisfied with our Bose Wave System purchase from Amazon. However, the unit we bought was reported to be new, but was actually slightly used, and the package did not contain an operator's manual. That made us feel a little bit taken by the dealer. The unit itself works very well, and Bose deserves its great reputation for great sound from a small apckage. The CD drive has given us some fits as it rejects many disks that are in good condition but it will not load them. Don't know why, but some have worked after using a disk cleaning system on them.
Least Helpful Review Ever August 13, 2008 NY Librarian (Brooklyn, NY United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I cannot believe this thing has no buttons. Hit the snooze with the remote control? I don't think so. As an object, an electronic device with no buttons is like a parapalegic. A remote is not a necessity, on any electronic device. It is a convenience. Being forced to use what is erstwhile a convenience feels like house arrest.
