very good buy October 25, 2008 A. DIAZ (houston texas) I am very pleased with Amazon by sending me this unit at a very good br /price, I really enjoy this little boombox, it has everything you might br /be looking for: CD/MP3 playback (store up to 214 songs in a single CD) br /sd card, usb flash drive connection if you want to put over 1,000 songs br /in a flash drive and listen to your favorite songs for many days, and br /of course auxiliary inputs for your Ipod or mp3 player, what else can br /you ask for a price like this. I recommend this product to anyone who br /likes that space saving and all the features in a little machine. Amilcar.
The best music experience I ever purchased. October 17, 2008 Michael B. Medley (Mexico, AL. USA?) This thing works flawlessly. SD cards are dirt cheap and play faster than CD's. The MP3 CD function play better than any I have used and the USB plays thumbdrives but at a slower loading pace.
Not bad, but... August 6, 2008 M. Howard I was fairly pleased with the performance of this little boombox. It would be better if it came with adjustments for bass and treble. My only real complaint is that one of the speakers blew out after just a few uses and I didn't even have the volume up loud.
Skips on most CD's July 12, 2008 Peter Perry We ordered this item excited about its ability to play MP3 and standard CD's. Right out of the box it skipped on the first CD we played, but we were able to get it to play fine if we carefully inserted the CD. Now, two months later every CD skips and we are frustrated since we can't return it. We don't know if this is a fault of every unit, but it was our frustrating experience and suggests there may be a quality control problem.
Decent Player with Versatile Inputs June 10, 2008 Kali76 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have purchased and used this Jwin player for about two months now. I needed a small and portable player that can play MP3 files on both CD and flash memory, and this one seemed to fit all my needs. I didn't consider the high quality sound since the player was intended to use for playing only children's songs. br / br /Here is my thoughts: br / br /Pros) br /- Size: It was a lot smaller than I have expected and very light to carry around. br /- Flash/SD Memory: Works fine with my 1GB SD memory. Manual specifies that it works with up to 2GB. br /- Volume Control: The volume control is a dial which I prefer over a button type. br /- Backlight Display: It helps to read music tracks during the night. br /- Price: It was the only unit that I can find around $40 having all the features listed. br / br / br /Cons) br /- Bass Sound: Although I didn't expect quality sound, the sound, especially bass, is awfully bad. There is a bass bost feature, but I don't hear any difference. br /- Tunner: It is manual and the reception is as bad as the radio in my alarm clock. br /- CD Lid: CD lid is opened by just lifting, which can be broken easily. br /- No ID3 tag display: Only current track # is displayed. br /- Button layouts: Play Stop buttions are very small and not intuitively placed. br / br /I would only recommend this player to whom needs to play light music like children's songs with limited space.
