 Serious problems with some PCs July 18, 2008
Does what every other mp3 player should and it's surprisingly small.
However, The software for this iPod has a terrible USB driver for Windows. Let's put it this way: to transfer music from my PC to the iPod, I have to unplug my USB mouse connected in another, completely unrelated port. Naturally, I'm not the only one with this problem. (I found this solution after 5 minutes on Google)
The hardware is ok, but I would avoid iTunes at all cost. (Search for alternatives, there is plenty of them)

Great little music player July 17, 2008
Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Blue (2nd Generation) The I pod shuffle is great for jogging with. It clips to your clothes, it is so light you hardly know it is there and the control buttons are large and make it easy to pause or skip a song without looking at the player. It holds a charge for quite awhile and holds a couple of hours worth of songs.

I purchased an Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB for my husband because he does landscaping and I thought he might like to listen to music while he works. He loves it! It holds over 200 songs and the battery lasts forever! It is very simple to use and we don't have to worry about him dropping it, it is a very hardy little machine. It even clips to his shirt pocket. And the music is crisp and loud. I'm ordering me one for taking to the gym, my husband won't share his :-) The only thing he complained about was the headphones that came with it, they wouldn't stay in his ear and couldn't compete with the sound of his mowers. We bought a better headphone set, problem solved. We love this thing, we aren't teenagers so we don't need the fancy videos and such of the more expensive ones, this one serves it's purpose for us and we love it!
