Product Description The EPSON GT-15000 delivers faster scanning speeds and greater efficiency to business and educational users. It can be networked or used as a standalone scanner, and is an excellent solution for space-efficient paperless archiving. Brochures, proposals, quotations and faxed letters, as well as textbooks, maps, projects and photos can be scanned in vivid, sharp color at the touch of a button and shared across a network. This scanner combines quality, simplicity and speed, with an output resolution up to 9600dpi for A3 documents and speeds of up to 10ppm in color and 16ppm in mono. It can scan originals up to full size A3/double A4 and differentiate between multiple items, so documents and photos can be captured at the same time.

All business April 29, 2008 David W. Sanden I travel a lot and have the scanner shipped to various cities. The scanner has never failed regardless of the high usage or impacts from the abuse of shipping. Very fast, east to use and clean optics makes this scanner a great purchase. We like it so much the company is purchasing another one. Props to Epson for making a quality product!!
Best 11x17 scanner for small office April 29, 2008 V. Frazer (Walnut Creek, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item for our small architectural office to do 11x17 scans. This is a great large format scanner. It comes with a watered down version of Adobe photoshop that is easy to learn and use. It also comes with Abbey Finereader which is also a plus. Several scans can be automatically converted to one pdf file. The scan options are also user friendly with default templates and custom options. I searched several sites and found Amazon to carry the best price for a trusted site.
WARNING when buying Epson products April 18, 2008 B. Humphrey (NYC, New York USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
PURCHASE YOUR EPSON PRODUCT THROUGH AN AUTHORIZED DEALER OR FROM EPSON DIRECTLY. This is not a review of this product, but rather a word to the wise... Two and half months after my purchase of an Epson 10000XL scanner through Amazon, it stopped working. Through the followup and tech support process I learned that, because I purchased through Amazon, the manufacturer nor the seller would honor the 1 year warranty. Epson's position is that Amazon is not an authorized seller and that they merely act as broker for what can often be re-furbished or second hand merchandise. So, should your purchase break or malfunction, as mine did, you are out of luck with regard to warranty. This lesson cost me $2400.00
FANTASTIC AND EASY April 8, 2008 Pittsburgh Gal (Pittsburgh, PA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sent back a MicroTek scanner 9800 because it was crap and their tech support was worthless and bought this Epson. On the MicroTek my scans came out with blue backgrounds even after repeated calibrating. The Epson produces crisp, clear, perfect scans and no dreaded blue background to try to fix. It's a total gem! Easy set-up, no fuss, beautiful scans into jpg or pdf files. Love it and recommend it 100%.
Just Plug It In January 13, 2008 John Forcucci (Boston, Ma. USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I am an illustrator with a moderate amount of computer skills. I would rather spend more time painting than worrying about every little tweaking detail offered by many of the higher end scanners. It was simple to plug in, load the software and begin scanning in Photoshop. The first scan was an 11 X 17 black and white piece of inked comic art - handled readily by the GT5000. I was blown away by the speed and quality. Very good value - excellent results.
