Product Description Solve time-value-of-money calculations / Generate amortization schedules / Includes trigonometric functions, natural logarithms, powers analysis Gives business professionals and students access to powerful features such as cash-flow analysis and advanced, list-based statistics
Amazon.com Product Description We're definitely taking this along with us the next time we shop for a house. Though it takes a little effort to master the collection of financial worksheets available on the Texas Instruments BA II Plus, you'll be glad you invested the time and money in this fine financial calculator.pThe BA II Plus operates in standard calculator and worksheet modes. The standard mode lets you perform common math as well as operations involving the time value of money--that is, applications such as mortgages or annuities in which payments are equal and evenly spaced. You can also perform trigonometric functions in standard mode.pThe more hard-core worksheet mode includes tables for amortization, bond, depreciation, and compound interest. If you're not familiar with such calculations, the very helpful user's manual will guide you through the process. All previous worksheet values are stored in memory, so you don't have to retype all the bond maturity or cash flow analysis figures.pThe average user who wants to calculate a basic loan payment will be more comfortable working in the standard calculator mode. We were using the BA II Plus tools for calculating basic interest and payment periods within minutes. Still, it's good to know that the more advanced features are available for those who require heavy-duty financial computing.pFinance students and average users alike will find much to like in the Texas Instruments BA II Plus. i--John Frederick Moore/i

Great Finance Calculator October 2, 2008 JuliaL (Tallahassee, Fl) I had to buy this calc. for my finance class at FSU. It works great. I'm sure I will use it long after the class ends.
Great companion for Financial Calculations September 25, 2008 Utku Oeren (Muncie, IN USA) I used to have a scientific calculator and for all of the complex calculations in finance I needed to build models by hand. This calculator helps you in many ways. Easy to calculate NPV by entering cash flows. Durable. I recommend it to every finance major.
the shipment is really fast, though the price is not cheap September 18, 2008 Guihuan i found the same calculator in Meijer that is cheaper than the total price(including shipping fee) in amazon. However, the shipment is really fast, i don't care the little difference.
BA II Plus Fin'l Calculator September 2, 2008 Jax (Oak Creek, WI USA) Great product and very useful! br /Great service ordering it through Amazon, not to mention lower price.
Nice size, works well, but a little complicated to use July 18, 2008 geogirl (Portland, OR USA) There is definitely a learning curve for this item. I found myself pouring over the intruction manual way too many times, spending more time on figuring out how to use the calculator than actually using it to calculate! It is a nice size and has a ton of functions-way more than I will ever need.
