I love my new Sony DSC-H50 Camera! June 30, 2008 I used to own the DSC-H5, but decided to upgrade to the DSC-H50. I like the new features! It has a night shot switch that lets you take pictures in the dark! It uses night vision technology. The DSC-H5 has 7.2 MP and 12X zoom. This one has 9 MP and 15X zoom. Buy this camera!
Very happy with this camera June 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We upgraded from a 2 mega pixel canon. We are point and shoot photographers who just tinker with the features. We are very pleased with this camera. Clear pictures, great features. Still figuring them all out.
Sony DSC H50 is one super camera June 24, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used this camera for about one week, and I am amazed at the super pictures it takes, even under high magnification! Most pics taken on full auto, with great results. Hesitated to buy after reading some reviews, but thrilled that I did. Complaint about fringing with wide angle attachment makes no sense, why not buy a DSLR. This camera fills it's niche very well!
Great camera for the price. June 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am in love with my new camera. I have the smaller Sony that is great to throw in your purse. Both have the Carl Zeiss lens that takes incredibly sharp shots. I rarely have to fix a photo. I bought the DSCH50 for the stronger zoom and I am again amazed at the quality and price of the Sony cameras.
great camera June 24, 2008 I'm a novice photographer, just needing a camera to take pics of my daughters doing anything from parties to sports like basketball. With that being said, this camera has exceeded my expectations. I needed a camera that can take pictures in very low light, action shots in the bright sun, and everything in between. So, far it's done all of this flawlessly. One other thing that I really love is the "in-camera" photo editing, especially the red-eye removal. No more loading up a program, opening the picture, circling the eyes...etc. It's all done automatically. This has been a great camera for me!
