product review July 29, 2008 DNF (NJ, USA) The hand cream absorbs easily and has a pleasant smell. I guess you probably need to keep applying it throughout the day if you want to see dramatic changes. I do not see any major difference in my hands after I started applying the product. It may be I do not reapply after washing my hands during the day. I did find that the Body Shop Hemp hand cream tended to remain even after hand washing - the shea butter hand cream does not remain in this way.
The most amazing cream EVER! June 14, 2008 Rosie (Alaska) Wow, this stuff is so amazing! Like others have said, it's worth every penny. You might be skeptical at hand cream that costs $25, but I buy these two at a time so I never run out. It is super-rich so you only need a small amount. It absorbs into your skin and feels great. Plus, the tube is recyclable and the ingredients are fair trade. I adore L'Occitane. After the intense moisturization and skin protection that the shea butter provides, the scent is the best part about this product. The scent is wonderful, clean, and not too strong. Highly, highly recommended.
Best Lotion for both guys and gals February 8, 2008 Hongster (Fort Lee, NJ USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First of all I am a guy and yes I bought this after some sampling it from one of my friends. I have very dry skin (due to weight training and having sensitive skin) and I have tried a lot of lotions to get rid of my dry skin and so far the only lotion that worked was Eucerin but that lotion was way too oily as it left my hands greasy. Now comes l'occitane which leaves my hand moisturized and no more grease after applying the lotion. It is simply one of the best lotions I have used. But, no product is perfect so here are my gripes: 1. Costly 2. I don't like the smell 3. Cap is too small Other than that you won't find a better lotion out there that not only heals very dry skin and being grease free. Recommended for all skin types for your hands.
Worth Every Penny July 5, 2007 Dreama D. Rucker (Morehead, KY) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is the best hand cream I have found. Thick and rich, and not greasy. Absorbs easily. It is the only thing I have found that keeps my hands from cracking in the winter. Never want to be without it.
The best hand cream you can buy - absolutely April 26, 2007 Louie's Mom (Dallas) 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I use this in the evening on my hands and nails just before bed. When I travel to Southern California I make sure to put a travel size in my one quart zip top bag or, if its a long enough trip that I'll be checking luggage, a full size tube in the checked suitcase. When I'm in Southern CA I find that I need to use it several times a day as the air is very dry there.
