I bought the six of these to highlight a step on my deck. Each arrived in its own packaging with individual hardware and a couple of mounting extras. Out of the box one was already on - in broad daylight. The light sensor must have broken so since it was getting UV it stayed on. Of course when it got dark it lasted a few minutes and then went off, never to come back on again. So I was down to five which was enough for my needs so I persevered.
Now all five are in a line, exposed completely to the day's sun, and all five get the same amount of light. Unfortunately, the duration and level of brightness of each one is wildly different. The two that work great, offer a bright vibrant blue, but they outshine and out last the other three drastically. So after barely 30 minutes only those two remain on.
Better consistency on the lights would be desirable but due to the broken one and the ones that stay on only for a few minutes... well as it stands I can't recommend these.
