The husband loved the product and the price on Amazon is a lot better than at clerance at Home Depot.

I accidentally found this kit on super special sale so I ordered figuring that 50 watts per lamp would be useable somewhere. To my surprise, these lights are bright enough that I can light my shrubs from 10' away and they blend perfectly with some 300W halogens I have shining on my trees. I'm going to buy a couple of more lamps (the power pack will handle 6 of these lamps) to complete my outdoor lighting.

Found the 300W model cheaper on Amazon than the 100W model was going for at Home Depot. Very pleased with quality so far.
Simplicity and Brilliance January 20, 2008
This could not have been easier! 90 minutes and the house is illuminated beautifully. Looks like one of those $1500 jobs, but cost me only $95. I got the kit(4 lights) for a steal and added two more lights.
Money very well spent!
Overall great package January 16, 2008
Great overall package at great price from amazon ($58), costs much more for same components at Lowes. Easy to assemble, quality metal lights and adequate voltage for adding on extra lights (I've added on 5 extra 10 watt lights).
Few minor niggles: no drain holes in lights (some water accumulation after rains) but lights are well sealed; 50 watt lights are very bright -- but you can swap out the bi-pin lights for lower wattage bulbs; no photo sensor on power unit.
All in all a nice product, I actually bought another one for the back and side of house.
