 Like a dust buster on a stick - works great September 4, 2008

Works just as I thought it would, like a dust buster on a stick, but also with a traditional vacuum roller option. People who say it doesnt work well must have thought they were buying a real vacuum, which obviously for the price, size, and design it isn't. I use it mostly for kitty litter and pet hair on hardwood floor and tile and it works awesome.

I bought this as I am in a wheelchair and I am able to push this with little problem. However it's not picking up anything smaller then a pea! I tried to vacuum up cat food and it will not pick it up. It just pushed it around the floor. Why have a vacuum that won't suck up anything?

Being a mom of 18 month old and having two kittens I have to vacuum twice a day, which was a pain to do with my full size corded vacuum.
This vacuum was a life saver! It is so easy to use and it does as well of a job as a full size vac! I loved it so much I got two more as gifts and they love them too!

I bought this vacuum for my tiny apartment. We don't have pets but my boyfriend and I both have long hair and when we tried to vacuum it up from our short pile carpet, the vacuum clogged very quickly. I had to cut the hair out, which was messy, but it worked well after that. The only other issue is that it is difficult to replace the canister once you empty it out. Basically, this is a cheaply made, hard to clean but surprisingly effective vacuum that is good for small rooms or apartments. If the only residents of your home have short hair and no pets, this is the vacuum for you. It sucks up a lot of dust and is easy to store.

When my nearly new Dirt Devil vacuum started spitting dirt out the back and I couldn't fix it myself, I saw the Eureka stick vac on sale at Target and decided it was worth a try. I absolutely love it! I used to have a hard time finding outlets all over my house, but since it's cordless, I take it everywhere and vacuum my whole house in 10 minutes, including the kitchen and bathroom tile floors. Because it's so lightweight, my 9 and 3 year old children love to vacuum as well. Talk about a bonus!
