The stools are what you paid for. Not the best but not bad either.
It took me a while to assemble the first, around 45 minutes. The instructions were not great and the holes didn't really align. A little tricky in the beginning. Assembling the second was then easier, took me 20 minutes.
It is comfortable as long as you are not going to stay on it for over 2 hours non-stop. I am 5'6" and my husband is 5'9" and both of us seat comfortably, we can reach the foot rest without problem.
The design is modern, not the typical classic and elegant look. Some parts came a little scratched and I worsen it while trying to align the holes during assembly. It is worth the price.
I recommend these stools if you are in a short budget.
If you have a higher budget and if you are looking for something to last longer, I would suggest you looking further.

These stools are low cost (cheap) compared to other we looked at. They will work for us; but we would have ordered better quality if non on such a tight budget.
They were packaged badly - watch for loose parts in box. The bolts really do strip easily. The lineup of the parts in a little off in each piece, making it hard to bolt together. They don't rock at all when you sit on them, but after putting stool together we notice that legs are uneven. They look OK and they will work, but if yoyuu can spend morew & get better.

I used them for a back yard BBQ Bar I built. They look good, there sturdy, the only thing is, the back bars will make your back sore if you sit out there and watch tv/drink soda too long. What do you expect though. Overall, this is a good product, easy to assemble, and they suit there roll..
