Even though the lamp was packed really well, the shade was smashed in when I unwrapped it. My return and refund were processed quickly so that at least was good.

I am very please with this lamp. It is sturdy and well made. But, it was a little smaller than I expected yet br /it turned out to be the right size I needed. br / br /I gave it four stars as the unwrapping was a real drag.

The lamps put out minimal light and look really flimsy. They are not as high-quality as they appeared on the website.

I was so pleased with the first one of these that I purchased, that I redecorated a room just to make a place to buy a second one. The look of it is even better in person. The bronze patina doesn't get justice from a photo. The floor switch is handy, too. This makes a great reading lamp for next to that easy chair and ottoman you have! This works great at our house, because the light is cast down toward the reader, but doesn't overlight the room if someone else is dozing on the sofa nearby or watching TV.
