Shurtape CP-743 Matte Black Paper Tape is a photographer's matte black masking tape. It features an opaque, matte surface for light-free masking and high quick stick & adhesion when reproducing photographs. It is now manufactured by Shurtape and used to be referred to as Permacel P-743. Shurtape CP743 Paper Tape is used for photographic reproduction work - cropping and edging negatives; positioning negatives for contact printing; sealing camera bellows and film holders against light leaks. Reliable tape for use in photo studios, film processing laboratories, as well as in home dark-rooms. CP743/P743 Masking Tape is also recommended for use as a chart tape. It features an easy, consistent unwind and is hand tearable. When looking at CP-743 from the side no white will be visible unlike a gaffers tape which has white adhesive which can sometimes be partially visible when looking at the tape from that angle. NOTES: Sizes shipped will often be to the tape-industry standard metric equivalent, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of tape width. This product's actual size is 24mm x 55m.
