Amazon.com Product Description
You can now get Command & Conquer: Red Alert, one of the most lauded real-time strategy games ever and its successful expansion pack, The Aftermath, in one package. Red Alert poses a very hot war between Soviet and Western forces. It's up to you to choose sides: the brutal force of Stalin-led Russia or the stealthy insurgence of the Allied forces. Aftermath continues the war effort, but raises the stakes with guerrilla tactics, new units, and awesome weapons, including nuclear technology.

All I can tell you is that this game was an example for such games as Starcraft and Tiberian Sun. It is a classic game that everyone should own.

Command and Conquer is a basic war game that is very easy to play. There's Missions set-up for you to play or you can play Multi player against the computer or with a friend on your modem. On the Missions there are two armys: The Allies, and the Soviets. You can choose either one and go through all their missions to defeat the other army. The two armys have a lot of the same units and structures, and also a lot of different units and structures. Multi player is sort of similar but instead of Missions with objectives you can make your own plans. You can pick from about 30 maps or so and pick one of these countries to battle against the computer, France, Germany, England, Russia, Moscow. You can also play on the Internet against people you don't even know intill you play and talk with them while your battling. If you buy this product I garentee you'll have fun.
