The best! 60 minutes flew by! June 5, 2007 Sarah Vetter 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I haven't used a workout video in ages but I knew I wanted a dance aerobics video and this one got such good reviews I thought I'd try it out. I meant to do about 40 minutes but, before I knew it, the class was over and I had done a full 60 minutes! I was sweaty but smiling the whole time, the intervals are perfectly timed so that you're just getting tired when they start to bring the intensity down and you can make it easier or harder by doing higher or lower impact moves or by using your arms less or more. The aerobic routines are also just complicated enough to keep it interesting. It was great! It's true that Jane Fonda's lace bodysuit is pretty unbelievable but it's a fantastic workout regardless of the fashion. I felt energized afterward rather than drained and my body feels like I definitely worked it yesterday with a bit of soreness here and there in muscles that are hard to work out with weights. I highly recommend this video to get your heart beating and your muscles moving!
Really Good One April 10, 2007 Kari 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, it's old, the outfits are dated, and Jane's boots are bizarre but she looks incredibly strong. This is a great, fun cardio workout for people who like dancy moves that are very easy to learn. There is an option to do it in portions, but that's probably a simpler thing if it's a DVD - and I'm not sure if it comes in that format. In it's entirety it's a bit long, but such effective low impact cardio that it's well worth the time.
If you don't own a DVD player yet..I guess your stuck with stuff like this! March 20, 2007 Sululu (NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Woah, holy cheesy outfits and music! "You can take this move to the club!"...Jane, not even in 1985 could I take ANY of these moves out in the club. Jane is wearing the most uncomfortable looking lace bodysuit I've ever seen..and with the black cinch belt, she looks somewhat like an oversized peanut shell. She's also wearing what looks like little elf booties. It's a horrible outfit to look at. That being said, she is in great shape..very lean for sure. The whole routine is 60 minutes long and you will sweat if you do the high impact version. That is..if you can get through the dated, dated, dated, and more dated routine, music, and hairdos.
Great Workout Video- where is the DVD???? August 14, 2006 amanda (monmouth county, nj) I had this video the year it came out. This was very motivating, great moves and really works. I started doing only the 20minute routine, which is awesome. I eventually went longer and really broke a sweat! I WANT THE DVD but it is not available :( br / br /Awesome tape, i might have to get a cheap vhs just for this! br /
Where's the DVD ???? August 8, 2006 Mary Jane 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the Jane Fonda workouts. She really knows how to motivate you. Yes, it takes a bit to learn the moves, but trust me you will really enjoy it. br / br /The problem is that I no longer have a VHS player. My old one started eating tapes and I never replaced it because DVD's are so much more popular now. I would love to have this workout on DVD. I know they could sell tons of them. br / br /The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is not available in a DVD format.
