5 out of 5 stars Can't do without it!!!   October 1, 2008
Amy Tewalt
My daughter is now 7 months old and this is the one item I can't imagine not having. For the first month I didn't think much of it she didn't seem to take to it, I don't know if it was position or just wanting to be held. It's not an activity chair, it's an everything else chair, I took the toy bar off and gave her the unattached toys they dangle in a weird position if not. That being said I still give this 5 stars and would give it a 6th if I could. We take it everywhere, and I've washed the cover at least 5 times and it still looks new. She sleeps in this frequently all night and it's great for naps. When she has gas and it seems painful for her to lay flat she sleeps wonderfully if I put her in the seat because of the incline. I only wish they had one moving into a larger size, it's the perfect chair in that in supports and cuddles around her and she's upright enough to see everything. LOVE IT!!!!

5 out of 5 stars awesome helper   September 27, 2008

My daughter is now 2 weeks old and actually loves this chair. The headpiece needed a little adjustment but she doesn't slide in the chair and I feel really safe about letting her stay in it. Also, the backsupport seems to be really good for her. During her first week she was really fussy and this chair calmed her down almost every time, now she even sleeps in it for 2-3 hours. This is a great gift and truly a life-saver.

5 out of 5 stars The baby product I couldn't live without   August 21, 2008
Krista J. Branan (Melbourne, FL)
Our twins are five months old now, and we have two of these seats. We've been using them since the boys were born, and I really don't know what we'd do without them. The vibration mode is absolutely magical, and they love the music mode as well. Now that they're a little bit older, they're also batting around the toys that hang over the seat. My one slightly negative comment would be that the head rest that comes with the seat is pretty useless ... it was at the wrong height for our boys to use when they were tiny and really needed it. The seats take three C batteries, and the charge lasts for an impressive amount of time, even with our heavy use.

3 out of 5 stars not very portable   July 2, 2008

So far, all I have is assembly experience with this seat, I'm not due for three weeks. I got it, was really excited, took it out of the box, and started putting pieces together. After 10 minutes I was done, with minimal help from the instructions. We are in the process of moving, however, and I didn't realize that once you put it together you can't take it apart without unscrewing pieces that aren't meant to come apart. I wish they made it collapsible or something, like the boppy travel swing. Another thing I noticed is that the toy bar is really right there in the baby's face. Again, the travel swing has much better design in this area too.

4 out of 5 stars Happy with product   July 1, 2008

We are happy with this product and our son spends time in it daily. If I had one criticism, it would be that the head support provided for newborns seems to prop our newborn's head too much so that I wonder if it affects his ability to breathe. We ended up turning the head support upside down to alleviate this concern & adding another blanket underneath him to help support his posture & ensure his ability to breathe easily.
