5 out of 5 stars Great toy   July 27, 2008
ibshopping (Charlotte, NC USA)
My son absolutely loves this toy. We looked at the various Wall-e toys out there and settled on this one. It has been great fun since we purchased it. The toy has a fantastic "personality" with its various pre-programmed movements and sound effects, especially when you select the "play" mode rather than the "try me" mode. The toy comes with a warning on possible damage to Wall-e's head with rough play, but so far so good for our Wall-e. I look forward to hooking up my iPod to see what it will do.

5 out of 5 stars A fun and very useful toy for mostly all ages   June 27, 2008

This has got to be one of the greatest movies and toys of the modern age!
We are so close to the Robotic Age, when small childrens toys become so interactive and responsive to our voices.
This toy responds to your voice, and other sounds. It will play MP3 music through it, using the supplied cable as well.
Although it does have a set of pre-programmed actions, it becomes most useful in the playback of your favorite music, or even your recordings of classroom training sessions, in college. That would qualify it as an educational (AND FUN) device. Imagine listening to your favorite Astrophysics Professor explaining the Cosmos, or Electrical Engineeringing profs, describing the characteristics of copper wire, through this little robot.
Sounds like a History Channel lesson!! Entertainment along with learning! A real plus!!
