Customer Reviews:
Don't buy it for the binoculars April 11, 2008 M. Ramey (North Carolina, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was disappointed by the binoculars in this device. You have to have the device orientated just right to see out of one lens. Basically there is just a little dot of light in the binoculars, and if you don't have your pupil lined up just right, the image will go completely black. br / br /Also, if your child has to wear glasses, don't expect them to see the Viewmaster images without them on. I found it surprising that I couldn't look into the device and see the pictures with my glasses off. Sure I'm near-sighted, but the binoculars can adjust for this, why shouldn't the Viewmaster side? Looking at the images with glasses on doesn't quite work as well. br / br /In all, it's a nice toy. My three-year old likes to go around the house on a "Safari Adventure" imagining he's seeing these animals inside and outside our home.
Great toy! June 7, 2007 Christy L. Meek (Kirksville, MO USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves this toy because it is both binoculors and a viewmaster. She loves looking at all the rain forest creatures and keeps begging for more. Good educational value as well as she is learning the different names of the animals. I just wish it came with more information on each animal.
