Amazon.com Product Review A texture gun and hopper setup like the PC501 is useful for quickly covering large surface areas such as drywall. Not only does it give you a nice textured effect, but it effectively hides imperfections, nails, and tape lines in a single application. This alone can save you a ton of time.pOn the downside, hoppers like this are a little unwieldy. When they're full of drywall it can be quite heavy-this is not a one-handed operation. On this model, the hopper handle is bolted on at the top, which makes it a little uncomfortable to hold over long periods of time. The gun works with what the manufacturer refers to as a "four-finger grip"; in other words, you have to exert some pressure to make it work. (If you are worried about the comfort and ease of operation, you may want to shell out a little more money for Kraft's Super-Pro system, which is a little easier to operate.)pNote that the hopper is angled, which allows you to tilt the whole thing upward so you can spray ceilings. This is a nice feature, and it will save you a lot of headache trying to drywall ceilings by hand.pAs hoppers go, however, this is an inexpensive option that will get the job done.i--Josh Dettweiler/ipbWhat's in the Box/bbr Hopper, gun, air tips

Texture Tool a Winner September 15, 2008 A. J. Summers (Knoxville, TN USA) I used the tool for applying knockdown texture to new and exisiting walls. The tool is well made and easy to use. For a first timer at texture I was pleasantly suprised. The instructions could be a little more explicit. I viewed a video on UTube that helped a lot and filled the gaps in the instructions. I would recommend this tool.

Internal parts made probably out of US. No a good quality control certification. The trigger broke the frist time I used. I do not recommended it.
