This caulking gun is great. I put 50 + tubes of liquid nail through it and it made my project so much easier. Besides, you can tell your friends you have a caulkmaster and that is just too funny. Great product.

We use these at work to seal panels to airplanes. If you just squeeze and hold the trigger down you will make an awful mess. Pump the trigger a little at a time and this thing will sing (seal) for you. We use sealant 10 times more messy than rtv (caulk). so messes are ugly. If people hate this gun then they don't know how to use it properly.

I have this product and it is extremely overpricedbrand poorly designed. Using the gun with the small brcartridge is OK with no problem but trying to use thebrgun for the large cartridges is almost impossible!brIn order to use a large cartridge you have to put thebrcartridge in a tube and connect the tube to the gun. brThis is done by compressing a hard rubber "O" ring andbrhere is the problem. Using all my strength I cannotbrexert enough pressure to compress this "O" ring and assemblebrthe gun. Perhaps this is just the fault of the cartridgebrbut this should not happen. You cannot have a caulking gunbrthat will work only on certain cartridges.br It is better to have two guns (one for small cartridges brand another for the large catridges). For the price of thisbrgun you can purchase two guns. You just have to look aroundbrspend some time. I returned this gun and now have two seperatebrcaulking guns that work great (and have money let over)!

I am one of those people who are just plain bad at caulking, put on about half a tube, and then smear the excess on my pants leg. This product allows me to draw a perfect bead, thin or wide depending on who hard you squeeze the trigger. It's heavyer with the larger tubes but it works great for putting down construction adhesive to lay subflooring. If you have a compressor on the job you need this gun.

I do love this tool, but with some reservations! The 1/10th gun worked great for me, except for the higher cost of tubes VS the 30 ounce tubes. The 1/10th gun is lighter to use, thus less tiring. You do take more time changing spent tubes, with the 1/10th gun. The 30 ounce gun had problems with the large o-ringe seal that kept twisting in, and loosing air pressure, cuasing construction delays, having to fix the ring, that I got so tired of fixing, that I just stopped using the 30 ounce gun. This was a shame since I paid for both, and now use the 1/10th gun, due to the above problem. The 30 ounce tubes are also cheaper, down the road. I also noted the pressure clamp on the air hose to come loose, and need clamping. I recommend the manufacturer look at the above complaint, on the clamp and 30 ounce tool. The 1/10th gun works great, and sure beats hand caulking.
