5 out of 5 stars Pin Nails   July 31, 2008
Mary Lane Layton (Keene, NH)
I have the GREX 635 pin nailer so I bought these pins for use in it. I have used these pins for many different jobs. I have used it to attach wooden cut-outs to my picket fence as well as for installing crown molding throughout my house. I never once experienced even a single pin jam, missfire, failure to insert below the surface of the wood or break. These pins have performed flawlessly and I highly recommend them.

5 out of 5 stars Grex 23 ga. pin nailer   September 26, 2007

WOW! This a GREAT pinner---soft nose, full 1 3/8" penetration in both cherry and oak with no dimples left behind.

5 out of 5 stars Grex P635 Jam   May 20, 2007
Larry Rosenberg (NJ USA)
I fired about 100 1 1/4" pins and experienced 3 jams. Ok, no biggie. Probably user error. However, clearing the first jam was an issue. The manual said to loosen the 2 front screws, slide off the front and remove the jam. The 3 allen wrenches that come with the tool were not the tool to use. A torx head driver is needed. The manual should say what is needed AND they should include the torx head driver with the pinner. I scratched up the screws trying to use a pair of pliars before I realized what was needed.
This nowithstanding, the P635 drives the pins effortlessly and countersinks in all kinds of wood.
