Great Service - Fair Product November 10, 2008 BOSS (California) Qualified for free delivery and received the product in record time! Well packaged, appears to be adequate for minimal usage. Was expecting greater capacity from the two (2) stage tanks, but didn't hold enough air to fill 2 tires, and never reached more than about 75 pounds pressure. Gave it to a neighbor
for small jobs November 1, 2008 JDonley (Montana....the last best place) The only complaint I have is the hose. I broke the hose first day and had to go to TSC and buy a regular compressor hose. The hose is junk.....if you buy this unit invest a little money in a real compressor hose. And while you are at it, get a good chuck to air up tires. I have been a farmer for 40 years and work with big compressors every day. This isn't meant to compete with commercial units, but for non-demanding jobs, it is worth the money. br / br /don
GREAT COMPRESSOR October 21, 2008 Anthony Crecc (Watertown CT United States) I bought this at Home Depot as well for 50 bux and I think it is worth the original $100.00 price tag, with the money I saved I bought a Milwaukee nailer so I cant comment on the gun that it came ith. So far I have not had a problem with either and I have used this compressor quite a bit. This is a MINI compressor! dont take it for anymore than that especially if you are looking to drive a impact gun spray gun for any extended period of time its just not designed for that which is why they call is a "mini" compressor. I highly recommend this to the DIYer.
DON'T BUY FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT - GET THE Stanley/Bostitch CPACK1 INSTEAD August 12, 2008 E. Richards (San Jose CA) Don't buy this for home improvement use! (which is how I made the mistake) br / br /This is only good for stapling cloth to furniture and things like that. br / br /If you only want to inflate tires and balls just get a little $20 pump with no bottles - it'll also take up less space. br / br /It is made fine, but it's just too weak for any thing practical. br /- There isn't enough CFM to hold even low pressures like 40 psi (eg a little air brush) br / br /- The pump is REALLY weak and struggles after 40psi so recharge takes F O R E V E R when you need 40+ psi (eg nailing, bike tires etc). br / br /I _really_ didn't want to spend more than $100 to put up $100 of crown moulding but I've had too... I returned this and I went to Lowe's and got the Stanley/Bostitch 2-in-1 ("CPACK1") - it's here on Amazon too. I would have got it here but I need it NOW. The Bostitch is a 6 gallon/2HP compressor with a 16 gauge (not 18gauge like this) 1-5/8" brad/staple gun combo. I feel better now. I am also confident that I could later buy a nailer (eg for 2-3inch nails) and the compressor would do a good job at keeping up with putting in a dozen nails while reframing a window etc. br / br /here's a link to the Stanley/Bostitch combo: br /Bostitch CPACK1 2-in-1 Brad Nailer/Narrow Crown Stapler Tool and Compressor br / br /AMAZON was fantastic processing a no-questions-asked return. br / br /
GREAT LITTLE STARTER UNIT July 31, 2008 J. Blauer (UTAH) This is a great starter set up, the nail gun is awsome and I used it to put up bead board in my bathroom. I have also filled up tires on my bikes, 4 wheelers and cars with ease. The only thing that i wish was different was that the tanks were a little bigger. If I could go back I would buy the 4 lb unit rather then this one. If you are doing small jobs this one will take care of you, no problem.
