The Senco SS-14V Spiral Saw is designed for cutting of drywall and many other building materials with the added convenience of using the same battery (VC0011 not included) charger (VB0004 not included) as the DuraSpin DS162-14v and DS200-14v cordless screw systems. Cuts as fast as corded spiral saws, without the cord. 30,000 rpm high torque motor, adjustable and removable nose piece, slide switch with bump off, 1/4 in. and 1/8 in. collets and bits.

Senco Saw Does the Job September 15, 2008

I've been very pleased with the operations of the Senco saw. The unit's contour to ones' hand and low vibration make the tool very easy to maneuver and to operate. As a caveat, my experiences with the tool have been limited to drywall. The depth guide is easy to adjust and does not need tools, making the feature very convenient. The overall cost of the device, including the battery charger, is much more than comparable cordless devices. The convenience, however, of the cordless device outweighs the additional costs. While the device has limited use, the saw is the right tool when such a device is needed.
