I have owned this drill for a little over 2 years. I have gotten some work out it, especially in the first year, mostly drilling holes in the wall for shelving and some pilot hole drilling. br / br /However, when pushed a little hard, like drilling pilot holes in oak, driving long screws (2.5") or using masonry bits the drill starts choking and literally puts off a nasty smell. The variable speed control has crapped out and I only get one speed now (really super fast). br / br /All in all, I got my $40 worth, but if you are looking for a decent drill with some power look elsewhere. br /
