Product Description
Developed for those projects that require a large support area and need the workpiece to be moved around the roller. The specially designed small (2-1/8") diameter roller allows user to get into tighter radius projects like guitar bodies, curved chair legs, etc. The table is supported in four positions to eliminate sagging and to provide a stable base while working. Other features include: direct drive power transfer; toggle safety switch with safety lock tab; shielded and lubricated ball bearings; welded steel powder coated base; composite with plastic laminate surface table measuring 24" x 42-1/4"; table height is 33" to 39"; overall height (with handle up): 48-3/4"; graphite coated platen measures 6-1/2" x 31-1/2"; 4" dust port; belt tracking and tension adjustment; handwheel table height adjustment; extended sanding surface and work stop.

I have two big complaints about the Grizzly G0512 Edge Sander. First, the plywood wrap-around table is very prone to warp. Mine was so warped when it arrived that I had to fabricate a replacement. Even more disappointing is the poor quality of the sanding belt. The belt has a crude butt joint that bulges and makes smooth sanding impossible. I called Grizzly tech support but they didn't seem to care that their machine arrived virtually unusable. Not wanting to pay the 15% restocking fee, I searched the net in vain for a higher quality belt with the right dimensions. The only solution was to have a belt custom made for me. The new belt works well, but I don't plan on ever buying another Grizzly tool for my shop.
