Removing Plaster February 15, 2007 Charles LoGiudice (Geneseo, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this product to remove the finish coat of plaster from the walls in a bathroom I'm remodeling. It worked amazingly well. I would try the finer grits first on most paint finishes.
How to clean this disc July 9, 2002 James E. Greene (Cookeville, TN USA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Use an ice pick and a wire brush. Chip off the gummed up paint with the ice pick and then brush off the remaining paint. You don't even need to remove the disc from the machine. Keep your icepick handy. br /Forget mineral spirits and soaking and changing discs all day. Just chip off the paint and get back to work. br /Under heavy use the discs wear out in about 4-8 hours of use. br /(note: I post my reviews because I take them seriously and I take other people's seriously as well. Please take the time to rate my review so I can do a better job in the future. Thanks :) ).
Best for paint removal June 19, 2000 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the best way to remove paint from the exterior of your house. The 24 grit is a must for removing multiple layers. I wish they were a bit more long-lasting (they dull too quickly). But there's nothing better available.
