Product Description Imagine how much heat is lost through the small cracks and crevices in the door and window frames around the house. On top of that there is the cold air that is exchanged for that heat! During the cold winter months it is a good idea to insulate the doors and windows to cut down on your heating bill and eliminate extra drafts. liFor exterior use liIncludes 1/2" x 13.8-yards of tape liDoes one 6'8" x 9' area liClear as a glass liKeeps out drafts

Hard for me to find locally November 21, 2007 Gerry (Aurora, CO) The local stores seem to only carry interior film kits. I found two that had "Brand X" exterior film. In my opinion, 3M is the quality product and worth looking for. The cost of my purchase including shipping was equivalent to what it would have cost locally if it had been stocked. br / br /I have used this 3M kit for many years to seal over the sliding screen portion of my patio door. I have a dog door panel next to the screen door and the film allows me to keep the dog door open most of the day without letting in too much cold air.
Great product January 11, 2007 T. Emmons (Capac, MI USA) This Patio door insulation kit is a great deal....easy installation. Was able to reposition product to assure a tight fit. Will use again.
More pricey, but better tape pays off November 6, 2006 Concerned One (Clarinda, IA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this brand last year, got them on sale so it was a little more competative to other brands (like frost king). Let me tell you, it's all about the tape. My older house has very touch paint to stick to, and this handeled all but one window reasonably well, needed minor re-tapes throughout the season. Worth the extra money if you want minimal hassel. Again, the multiple kit is one big sheet to cut to size, but there is ample tape to go around. Hope you save a few cents like I did during the cold of winter.
