Product Description

This door older/stop does a great job of holding doors and a decent job of stopping doors. The stopping mechanism is solid, but really slamming the door open doesn't seem painless to the door or the stop. Where this device shines is as a door holder. It confidently holds my spring assisted door even on a breezy day. This is a great tool for keeping the door open when I want it open.

This is a fairly well made door stop that keeps the door open, yet releases the door without much effort. The circular base is a bit large in diameter, so if you have a very short baseboard it may be difficult to mount the base to the baseboard. The finish is generally good. Also, the short part (which I mounted to the door) is spring-loaded to buffer the initial contact with the base.

Love it - love it! We have a few solid oak doors that will not stay open and have had to use the rubber door stop - which never seems to get put back in place by everyone. We bought these and love them. A couple of our doors needed a longer extension since the door wouldn't reach the back of the wall. My husband used two of the longer pieces (one for wall and one for door) and now they connect (via the magnet). It is perfect. Yes, we had to purchase an additional set but it is well worth it to not have to mess with the rubber stop. This gadget was the perfect answer. Also, the brass on the ones we ordered looks great and matches our door handles, we did not have the problems others noted.

OK, this is one great product.. We have dogs and with the doors always blowing/slamming shut I was worried about them getting their tails caught.. These stops solved the problem.. Really would recommend them..

I couldn't be happier - I even installed them myself. My life is so much easier now that I can just open my doors and they stay open. I can't believe I didn't buy them sooner. And I received them in such a timely fashion. They came so fast I couldn't remember what I had ordered when I received the package. I would definitely order from this company again and tell my friends.
