Packaging was a joke. July 21, 2008 K. Brosamer (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The shipping packaging consisted of two flat pieces of cardboard sandwiched and taped around the 4 screens I ordered. No padding and of course 3 of the 4 screens were bent. What do I expect for their inflated shipping charges of $16 that took over a week to arrive. Do not recommend this merchant. The screen MFG is not at fault though.
Great adjustable window screens! July 2, 2008 Hermgirl (Hermworld, Near San Francisco, CA) We use these type of window screens in a lot of the windows in our home when it gets warm, but I was having trouble finding screens that opened up this wide for my two back bedroom windows, which are a lot bigger than normal. Everywhere I went locally, they only had one size. Well, they've arrived and I'm happy to report they are the right size that I need, and they're even a little wider than the ones we usually use. The quality is also very good, with two strong, neat pieces of wood for the frame, and the rest of the frame (the adjust-ey part)good sturdy aluminum. So when it gets really hot this summer, I won't be suffocating, which is really nice to know. I highly recommend these type of screens if you have those type of "lift up" old fashioned windows, because it really is nice in the hotter months, not to have to crack the window which doesn't help much but lets in every fly in the neighborhood
Seems to work great! May 16, 2007 radical.librarian (Durham, NC US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We've only used these a few times so far, but so far so good. The screen is a durable aluminum as opposed to the nylon ones. The frame is sturdy. I haven't had any problems using them.
A Durable and Well Made Window Screen January 10, 2007 A. Maldonado (Bronx, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was impressed by the solidity of the screens design. The screen is not flimsy, nor should it be for its price. I would purchase a WB Marvin window screen again in the future and recommend WB Marvin products to my family and friends.
