I've had the Bayco installed for almost two years. It delivers as advertised. I use it for vacuuming vehicles in the garage or running power tools on the driveway.

I purchased this a month ago and it has been great. Exactly what I wanted it to be, it pulls down, stays there and then retracts when you pull it again. It also has and LED in the end of the cord that shows you that you are getting power to the end.

As one of the other reviewers mentioned, the reel doesn't come as pictured with an eyelet presumably used to hang it from the ceiling. I was hoping to do that so I could cover the whole garage with one cord. Oh well, I ended up mounting it to a wall and I will likely have to pick up another one. Also, yeah, it is short. My garage is 25' deep and it won't reach all the way across. Quite a bit of cord is still in the reel at the last point the ratchet locks. Oh well. br / br /Now, that said, I kept it as it's a really well made reel. It definitely feels like it should last a while, unlike the similarly priced plastic junk you see around. The metal construction is good and it has excellent retraction tension. Overall it's a good deal and I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the inaccurate picture and the false 30 foot claim.
