IR 3/8 Heavy Duty Air Rachet Wrench - review March 9, 2007 G. Alvarez Jr. (Clementon, NJ) Excellent tool for my purpose as home backyard mechanic. It is light in weight and the handle provides a good grip. The only comment I have is it does not provide (even on IR website) a more detailed instruction manual on its operation. Otherwise, it is an excellent tool!!
Great ratchet January 19, 2007 Richard G. Merrill (Denton TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
So far, all the air tool shops and mechanics I've talked to rate IR on the top, with Chicago Pneumatic close second. This particular model is rugged and the quality of manufacture is obvious. br / br /When attached to the air hose with a quick-disconnect, the entire apparatus can be tough to manage in tight spaces e.g. when you're backing out the bolts on a disc brake caliper within the confines of a wheel well. Recommend purchasing a swivel connector; it allows you to reposition the hose at various angles and get it out of the way.
Title for my review July 17, 2006 Don R. Spears (Kansas City, MO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a tech for Ford, I have used this air ratchet every weekday for the last couple months I have owned it. So far no problems or defects found, I look forward to owning and using this air ratchet for many years to come.
