Not powerful February 25, 2008 Natasha C. Ernst (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This fan is a disappointment. I had a similar Lasko fan before that reversed with the flip of a switch for easy circulation and seemed to be more powerful; however that one died after 2 years. I bought this one because it was a little more expensive, which implies better quality. However, it is a disappointment even if it looks pretty.
efficient + September 9, 2007 Mary J. Schumacher (sharon, wi. United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
this fan fits in a small window and it will do everything a bigger one will.
clean cool air September 7, 2007 noel hutson (Nacogdoches, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It fits allmost perfect in my window. I don't have to expand the sides. I bought this item to mainly exhaust my smoke when I smoked inside by the window, since it's usually humid here in TX. It does a great job at that. The 1st time I used it to keep the air cool, I heard it turn back on during the peak hours. It got to me for a sec, but I figured it was due to the working of the thermostat on the system. It saves me a lot of $ cause I don't use the AC during the night now. I gave it 4 stars because turning it around for cooling or exhausting gets tiring.
Works as advertised. August 30, 2007 Richard L. Coggins (North Zulch, Texas United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this little window unit. It works well and saves me money on the electric bill as I don't have to run the AC as much. I do wish it had screens on to keep the bugs out though.
Good little fan July 12, 2007 M. Barlow 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We purchased this fan because we needed a small fan to fit into our window. It is nicely made and runs well but there are two drawbacks. It isn't very powerful (perhaps a function of its size) and to reverse the flow, it must be manually taken out of the window. This is an awkward procedure and had we known this, we most likely wouldn't have purchased it. But it works and fits.
