Amazon.com Product Description The Black & Decker ez twiststick is a an easy-to-use painting roller that holds the paint right in the handle of the tool, making your painting work faster and more efficient. With a simple twist motion of the handle, the paint is applied to the roller without mess, spills, the need of a paint tray, or the pain of having to bend over continually to do the job. The long paint-filled handle also serves as an extension to easily reach high places without a ladder. The included paint can cover with fill tube takes the paint directly from a 1-gallon can to provide you with continuous paint delivery, and the handle holds enough paint to cover an 8-foot by 8-foot area with one fill. When you're done painting, unused paint can easily be returned to the container. This product also comes with a 3/8-inch perforated roller cover for smooth and semi-smooth surfaces and a splatter shield that snaps on for splatter protection; it is backed by a 2-year limited warranty. What's in the Box TwistStick paint stick, 3/8-inch perforated roller cover, paint can cover, fill tube, and splatter shield.

Paint Stick Works July 7, 2008 D. Chau (Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just wanted to add my experiences w/ this product to the mix. It does exactly what it advertises. Easy to assemble, was a bit tricky to get load the hanndle w/ paint the first time. Once you adjust the angle of the stick to 45 deg as per the instructions sucks up paint like a charm. The twist function lets you control the amount of paint in your roller incredibly well. No more over or under painted spots. Initially skeptical, my wife was later amazed at how fast 3 walls could be painted. As for clean up, it is a bit tedious 15-20 minutes but well worth the time savings on the painting. 3 walls took about 20 minutes after taping and edging. Also the cleaning is quite straight forward all u do is use the plunger action of the stick to suck water into the handle which then flushes out the paint. Its like cleaning a long turkey baster. What is true is that the stick won't ever be as clean as when u bought it, but this won't affect any future painting projects. Great product.
long cleanup time October 21, 2007 M. Haynes (Maryland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product may have saved me some time in actual painting, but the cleanup was very messy and took much of my time savings away. I had difficulties getting the pieces apart during the cleanup and when they came apart, paint went everywhere. Also, paint kept coming out of places I just could not get to and I am wondering how well this will work the second or third time. One other criticism is that the mechanism to pull the paint from the can kept slipping in the can making it very difficult on refills (which are often.).
Love the EZ Twist Paint Stick! January 23, 2007 J. Myers (BENNINGTON, VT) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Have used mine several times without incident. No paint running down handle at all and the roller covers worked great. Love not having to go back and forth to a paint pan and the mess that involves. Painting is much faster than traditional methods. my walls look fantastic. Would DEFINITELY buy this again!
Leaked and spattered December 12, 2006 Linda Jones (Dallas, TX) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I used the Black Decker twist paint roller last week and it took only a few seconds before it started to leak paint down the handle, which made clean up slow and difficult to get the dried paint out of the handle. The roller cover dropped lint and fuzz all over my walls that dried in the paint on the wall. It looks like my walls have fur on them.
