grass collector December 1, 2008 R Lamb I ordered the Arnold Twin Bag Grass Collector for my Yard Man Tractor. It arrived within the specified time and was easy to install. I used it to pick up leaves and it did a good job. It does fill quickly with a thick cover of leaves but still easier than raking. I have about an acre of yard with many trees. It took about four hours to complete. I'm very happy with this product.
Good product...but... November 30, 2008 Randy L. Tegethoff (Newton, KS) I own a 2003 model lawn tractor and the mounting was not as expected. I had to drill all new mounting holes to mount the bag bracket onto the back. What was billed as a "quick attachment" took several hours and included removing both back wheels from the mower. Once I finally got the bagger mounted I was very happy with its performance.
close, but not exact November 11, 2008 Nunzio Guerriero (Newburgh, NY) Gotta say, everything about this bagger is great except for the fact that the 600 series adaptors needed to be bent. This was not an easy feat considering they are made of high strength metal. I needed a table clamp and a sledge hammer to bend the bottom of the adaptor plates away from the drive housing. This took the better part of an hour. After that, it took about 45 minutes to get everything else together. Took it out for a test drive, and it picked up everything and stored it evenly into each bag. This is a must have if you are sick and tired of raking up an acres worth of leaves.
Excellent Bagger, Just As Advertised October 5, 2008 DC It did take about an hour to setup, but what lawn mower accessories don't take awhile? The instructions were clear and straight-forward and it's made of high quality plastic/sturdy steel, looks like it'll last many seasons. Be sure to have a set of socket wrenches to help put it on your lawn mower. The instructions appear to be oriented towards an MTD ride-on lawn mower, but since that's what I have, it was fine for me as is. You can call MTD/Yard Machines directly and order an accessory kit for different brackets to fit your machine, if you need it.
Incomplete Product September 29, 2008 Bert Brendle (Zephyr Cove, NV United States) Product received was insufficient to complete project. Had to order additional items at a cost of an additional $30 to complete installation. Vendor should note this on site. Note: My model and serial Number was provided before purchase. Actually, the manufacturer should provide the items with the original item.
