Amazon.com Review The P3 International P7901 Molechaser makes moles scram by emitting a penetrating sound that sets the rodents' sensitive hearing on edge. Operating in a circular pattern of 100 feet, the Molechaser also chases off ground squirrels, shrews, voles, pocket mice, and gophers. It won't harm the rodents or your earthworms or your pets; it won't even harm your lawnmower, because you can bury it flush with the ground. At 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 15 inches long, the high impact ABS plastic Molechaser doesn't require an excavation of your garden. Plus, you can replace the four D-cell batteries--approximately once every 4 to 6 months--without digging it up. The Molechaser gives off 300 Hz of sound at 15-second intervals and works best in unobstructed, moist clay soil. If soil is dry, sandy, or peat soil, you may need a couple of Molechasers to get rid of moles for good. i--Emily Bedard/i

Why this product is a good idea, but bad in execution November 6, 2008 Peter Trzop (Bardstown, Kentucky) When having mole problems in Florida and Kentucky, one being sandy and the other clay like soil, I came across the P3 mole chaser on the word of some environmental friends. After reading and hearing more about the product, I was highly interested in the idea and product. My observations after using this device in multiple States, different conditions, etc, is it works better in sandy conditions better than clay ones. In Florida, the moles moved out of my yard, in Kentucky just about 20 feet away from the device. My big problem with the P3 is the lack of regard for my neighbors. While in Florida I did not have issues, my neighbors began to have them. Although it was not my fault, the mole is to blame, I did move my problem to their yards. This is the failure of the device even if it works. Also in Kentucky, we got a good outdoor cat who actually digs the moles up out of the ground, 5 and counting, so while more expensive, Nelly is infinately more effective in controling our mole problem.
Really works! September 22, 2008 Michael Kerry (Newark, IL) Placed two of these units in the yard and have driven the moles out. What more can I say?
The Mole Chaser Is a Great Product September 21, 2008 Karen L. Kruse The item is great, the shipping was fast, the the price was right, and all in all I was a great and easy transaction. br /
Worked on chimunks but not on moles September 18, 2008 Higgins (Ohio) I bought this because I had a chipmunk (ground squirrel) problem. I tried other things like spray repelants but they did not work on chipmunks. This product chased away the chipmunks but then moles moved in after the chipmunks left. The moles seem uneffected by this product. I have to use the spray repelant for the moles (the spray repelants have work in the past on moles). In conclusion, this worked on my chipmunk problem but not my mole problem
Just what I ordered August 31, 2008 Dr. Todd H. Berinstein (Vancouver WA USA) My old one failed after 8 years, and this one is working well. Moles ran away.
