Worked like a charm August 15, 2008 R. Frazier (Houston, TX USA) We used the heat gun to loosen epoxy holding undermount vanity sinks. We removed the sinks easily. It worked like a charm.
Great for the price March 9, 2008 Steven Goldmaker (Los Angeles) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a heat gun for a small project. I went to my local hardware store but all they had was a Makita for big bucks. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I only had a small job in mind. br / br /This heat gun worked really well. I don't know how it would stand up to professional usage, but for occasional or small jobs, it's great.
Does the work January 16, 2008 Francisco Araujo (Caracas, MI Venezuela) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It does the work, i haven't used during long periods. The only drawback i see is that it does not include accesories for different airflows.
If you need it, get it November 25, 2007 Richard Schrader I bought the B7D heat gun because I often re-shaft golf clubs. You can't use a hot flame such as a propane torch because it burns the surface of the club - mainly it's too hot. Epoxy melts far below the flame temperature. br /This gun is perfect for this kind of work. I'm going to try it on tile work next.
Look For Something Else November 16, 2007 JMS (Canada) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Bought this item and within 10 minutes, toast. Returned and replaced the item thinking I had a lemon. Opened the new package, plugged in the unit and poof! br / br /We don't see the forest through the trees. You get what you pay for. There has to be a really good reason why this tool is more expensive than some but cheaper than others. Maybe we're paying for a brand name to be stuck on a non-brand name quality item. Shame on you B D. I don't care what brand you sell or under what brand you hide, You won't see any more of my money. br / br /
