4 out of 5 stars Worked like a charm   August 15, 2008

We used the heat gun to loosen epoxy holding undermount vanity sinks. We removed the sinks easily. It worked like a charm.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the price   March 9, 2008

I needed a heat gun for a small project. I went to my local hardware store but all they had was a Makita for big bucks. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I only had a small job in mind. br / br /This heat gun worked really well. I don't know how it would stand up to professional usage, but for occasional or small jobs, it's great.

It does the work, i haven't used during long periods. The only drawback i see is that it does not include accesories for different airflows.

4 out of 5 stars If you need it, get it   November 25, 2007

I bought the B7D heat gun because I often re-shaft golf clubs. You can't use a hot flame such as a propane torch because it burns the surface of the club - mainly it's too hot. Epoxy melts far below the flame temperature. br /This gun is perfect for this kind of work. I'm going to try it on tile work next.

Bought this item and within 10 minutes, toast. Returned and replaced the item thinking I had a lemon. Opened the new package, plugged in the unit and poof! br / br /We don't see the forest through the trees. You get what you pay for. There has to be a really good reason why this tool is more expensive than some but cheaper than others. Maybe we're paying for a brand name to be stuck on a non-brand name quality item. Shame on you B D. I don't care what brand you sell or under what brand you hide, You won't see any more of my money. br / br /
