Product Description
Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury U.S.P.S. approved 4300 series roadside mailboxes feature both a front and rear access locking door. Available in a black, white, green or silver powder coated finish, each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two (2) keys on each door (keyed alike) and an adjustable red signal flag. Mail is deposited through a non-locking access panel on the front. Roadside mailboxes can be mounted on the optional in-ground mounted (#4385) aluminum pedestals or in-ground mounted, 1-sided deluxe posts (#4370) or a base of your choice. ORDER PEDESTALS SEPARATELY. Roadside mailboxes can also be mounted in columns, masonry or walls. Roadside mailboxes are approved for U.S.P.S. curbside mail delivery.

The mailbox is the Salsbury 4325 model. The box is very well made, nice fit and finish of all parts including the paint. I bought the matching aluminum in-ground post and the completed unit looks very sharp. The size is large enough to easily handle a weeks worth of my usual mail. The locks work smoothly. I'm even impressed at how solid and smooth the flag operates. I'd estimate the aluminum box weighs about 12-15lbs, and the matching pole about 6-7lbs. Feels lighter than it looks, but has a quality solid feel to it. No doubt it will last as long as the house. My mailman is impressed.

This item can very well help rural route mail customers feel more secure in the knowledge the mail is in a locked box, possibly ending a crook from br /getting personal info from your mail.

I love this mailbox! It is large enough to securely hold several days' worth of regular mail for occasions when we might be out of town for a few days or to accomodate magazines, pictures, or other items that we would not want to be bent. The lock opens easily. Delivery was very prompt also!
