We had looked for a hard shell rooftop carrier, but where put off by the price of them and decided that this bag would be simple to set up and adequate for our luggage needs. It takes about 10 minutes to set up and 5 to remove. br / br /Plus we drove from CT to NC part of the way though rain and back, there was a slight MPG drop because of the wind resistance, but no leaks and it holds lots of luggage. br / br /We should get plenty of use out of this bag over the next couple of years. I also should mention that our vehichle already had stock roof rails.
