bike rack October 28, 2008 Beckie A. Cheney (Iowa) The bike rack would not work on my year vehicle. I did not know that until I received it and looked at the direction to install it. It would fit other years of my vehicle but not 2008 Toyota Highlander
easy and it works! August 11, 2008 Dayna Haag (wisconsin) This rack is easy to install and easy to use. i put two Giant Cruiser adult bikes and one kids bike and it all fit and held up perfectly. I just ordered another one for my daughter that is in college so she can carry her bike home when she comes for summer vacation.
It doesn't fit all cars. July 25, 2008 D. Scott (Orland, FL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The product description said that the rack would fit most cars. Unfortunely, it didn't fit my Honda Accord. I suggest checking the manufactur's specs before purchasing.
good deal July 3, 2008 Dan the Man (New Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy to use and affordable. Has only four straps to keep it hooked to the car, but that appears to be good enough and stays on well. (Apparently, the EU version has six straps and therefore may cause confusion if one just looks at the picture in the included manual.) In addition, it has one extra long strap to tie up all bikes from the top and two separate straps to tie tires together to prevent flapping. Good design and we are highly pleased.
No way 3 bikes June 27, 2008 H. Danzis (North Carolina) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recently ordered this rack to load up 3 bikes so our family could ride some local trails. It arrived in the time frame given and it was in good shape. It set up well and seemed sturdy. However, there is no way on Earth that this rack would hold all 3 of our bikes. I'm not sure how they can advertise this item as being able to carry three bikes. It fit 2 just fine but anyone thinking about buying this for 3 I would recommend looking elsewhere. I am currently attempting to contact the vendor concerning it's return policy and will update this review with that information.
