Great Ball for the Price August 1, 2008 Alejandro Palomino (South Florida) This is a fantastic ball for beginners and recreational play. Especially for $15. This ball has feel of a higher quality ball and would be perfect to transition newcomers from free-for-all volleyball to organized 2 vs. 2 beach volleyball. The only draw back on this ball is that it doesn't have very thick panels which serves to give it a relatively short lifespan if used at a competitive level. I say this because I play at a competitive level and this ball only lasted 2 months before flattening. Granted, for $15 this ball did its job. All in all this is a solid ball for newcomers and recreational play.
What's wrong with this ball? July 31, 2008 Xichun Pan (New York) The soft touch ball I received has what appears to be a tear on it. I can see the underlying fabric of the ball through the tear. I am wondering whether it is a defect or actually an inflation hole. It does not look like the inflation holes of my other volleyballs. Can anyone help answer this question here? Thanks!
Soft Touch Volleyball July 22, 2008 B. Toves (Rota, MP USA) I like the softness of this volleyball except for the stinging feeling I get and the material's durability. I noticed several scratches on the ball after my daughter played with it outdoors and the material is very sensitive. The ball deflated after being pricked by thorns. Not good for outdoors. Price is good but won't be buying one again.
Works great June 28, 2008 Daniel H. Nguyen Excellent ball to play with, and a good price as well. My only complaint is the balls durability. During the first day of use at the beach, I already noticed a small gash on the surface of the ball. I do like the fact that the ball is soft, but I guess the material isn't tough enough. On another note, soft touch volleyballs may be considered as girl balls, so beware of the ridicule you may get after purchasing.
Perfect Choice May 5, 2008 Kurt Werner (Green Bay WI USA) This ball was the perfect choice! It is the same ball she will be using at school. Dad did good!
