I actually bought this at a store, instead of at AMAZON. I recommend buying this at a store, because the back of the package has the adapter exposed so that you can plug it into you cell phone, in order to make sure it is the right adapter for your phone.
I wanted this so that, when I travel, I can have a charger that does not require me to try to keep up with an adapter/charger for AC/auto. It does a wonderful job and provides a full charge in a reasonable amount of time. It is light enough to plug in and still use your cell phone, without being a bulky nuisance that interfers with calls.
It has even proven valuable for extended trips. All I do is carry extra AA batteries (or buy some more, if needed), and I always have an available charger.
I wish that there was a convenient carry pouch to allow a person to easily carry it next to the cell phone, but, hey, you can't have everything.
