The MR-1 is a reliable mechanical marker, but it has a few drawbacks. The price point is low enough to make it an entry-level marker...but the cocking handle totally blocks the metal sight. br / This tac rail is essential if you plan to aim at all. The rail raises your line of sight enough to aim while wearing a mask. The only real complaint was that it mounts on a weaver rail, but has a dovetail on top; so you should be certain that you scope will mount correctly. br / Also, the mounting screw can come loose over time so don't lose the hex key that comes with this.

This is a great product . well built and strong. But they could make it to stand a bit higher off of the the marker as there is just enough space for your fingers , without your gloves on. br / br /hope this helps you ! br /trevor
